This ABC comedy is my favorite show on TV. Created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, Modern Family is a mockumentary of three, very different, families that are all related to each other.  Lloyd and Levitan have done an excellent job producing a hilarious show full of love, laughs, and tears.  If you have not seen an episode yet, I strongly recommend watching immediately!

Art: The Family Portrait

At the end of season 1 of Modern Family, the entire group gets together for a family portrait.  Obviously something goes wrong and everyone ends up covered in mud making it the most adorable picture yet.  It inspired me to find some other pictures of family portraits and what I discovered were hysterically awkward family portraits. Design: 3 Different Modern Homes

The homes that are used for each family are all beautiful and well decorated.  Set decorators Amber Haley and Christopher Carlson do a great job of creating three very distinct looks to match each family’s personality.

My Likes:

One of my favorite characters on the show is Manny Delgado (Rico Rodriguez).  Manny is absolutely adorable and the cutest Mama’s boy there is.  He is a true romantic at heart and some might say he’s a 40-year-old man trapped in an 11-year-old body.  Not an episode goes by that Manny fails to make me laugh :)
